Audiobook Production
Narration, production, and distribution for the audiobook edition.
A growing share of your readers do their reading on a commute, on a walk, or over a sink of dishes. For them, a book without an audio edition may as well be out of print. You know the edition should exist; what stops you is everything after that sentence: narrators, studios, file specs, and distribution platforms with acronyms you have no interest in learning.
The voice question feels the most personal. Should you narrate it yourself? Should a professional carry it? What does your book sound like read aloud, and who decides?
How it works
The engagement starts with that voice question. If a professional narrator is right for the book, Julie runs the search and brings you auditions so you hear the finalists reading your actual pages. If the right voice is yours (and for memoir and professional books it often is), you get coaching so your narration holds up in hour six the way it does in minute one.
Then the production runs like a production: studio recording, editing, and mastering to retail spec, with checkpoints where you listen and approve. When the files are done, the edition goes out through ACX and partner channels, and the audiobook takes its place beside the print and ebook editions.
Who this is for
Your book deserves an audio edition produced at a professional standard, and you want the narrator question, the studio, and the distribution handled by someone who has done it before.
The call costs nothing, and you leave knowing your options. Julie reads every inquiry personally.
