Custom Project

For ghostwriting, hybrid scopes, illustrated children's books, and projects that don't fit a standard package.

Your project has an unusual shape. Maybe the book exists in your head and your talks but needs a ghostwriter to get onto the page. Maybe it is a children's book that needs an illustrator, or a memoir braided with a professional guide, or a co-production with an organization. You have looked at the standard packages, here and everywhere else, and your book keeps hanging over the edges.

What that usually means is a string of vendors, each responsible for a piece and nobody responsible for the book. You want the opposite: a scope built around the project, with one person accountable for the whole of it.

How it works

Every Custom Project starts with a Navigator, because a project this individual deserves research before a quote. Julie studies the manuscript or the idea, the market, and the shape of the work, and writes the plan.

Then the team gets assembled to fit the book: the ghostwriter whose voice matches yours, the illustrator whose style fits the story, the specialists the project genuinely needs and none it doesn't. The scope, the timeline, and the quote are written for your project, and you approve all three before any work begins.

From there it runs like every P&P engagement: milestones you approve, calls at the decision points, and a finished book you own outright at the end.

Who this is for

Your book needs a scope built around it: a ghostwriting build, a hybrid memoir, an illustrated children's book, a partner co-production, or something nobody has a name for yet.

Book a Call

The call costs nothing, and you leave knowing your options. Julie reads every inquiry personally.
