Strategy
Navigator
A strategy engagement that ends with a written plan you keep.
You have a manuscript, or an idea that keeps refusing to go away, and a dozen open questions about what to do with it. Every company you talk to answers those questions with the service that company happens to sell.
The stakes feel high because they are. The wrong publishing path costs real money and, worse, a year you don't get back. Before you spend anything, what you want is a professional read on your specific book from someone with no package to steer you into.
How it works
The Navigator starts with research. Julie reads your manuscript or proposal, studies the market your book will enter, and maps the publishing options that fit it: traditional, hybrid, independent, or some combination.
Then you meet for a working session. You talk through what the research found, what your book needs, what the road ahead costs in money and time, and what order to do things in. You ask the questions you have been carrying around for months, and you get answers drawn from thirty-six years inside the business.
You leave with a written plan: the recommended path, the sequence, referrals where they fit, and the reasoning behind each recommendation. The plan is yours whether you continue with P&P or never call again. A follow-up conversation a few weeks later catches the questions that surface once you have sat with it. And if you do continue into a production engagement, the Navigator fee credits toward it in full.
